Is it Castling?

 I would like to begin with my never ending struggles with this piece. It began with having a hard time nailing down my concept and constantly changing my plans. This was followed by many unsuccessful attempts to align different angles and make everything uniform. I managed to get to a point where I am satisfied, just don't look to closely for perfect symmetry for there is none. I also greatly struggled to "cap" hand made shapes but after much frustration I figured out a way that works for me. Another thing to note is that I wish I could have gotten more detail with the materials in the rendering. Due to a lot of shapes being "Boolean Union" together and I couldn't separate them for some reason. I also felt like a lot of the detail was lost in rendering so I'm posting a couple unrendered pictures so you can see it better. Despite the massive struggle this assignment was I did feel like I learned a lot and hopefully next time I will be able to properly complete my piece to my liking. Anyhow this is my castle which was originally going to be fairy castle but then turned into just a regular fantasy castle. Though I'm still proud of what I was able to create with all the difficulties I experienced.
